Kahlista and Jharda’e have planned a road trip around the north island for the Christmas holidays.

They plan to travel to:

Auckland - Rotorua =  219 km            

Rotorua - Tauranga = 65 km

Tauranga - Gisborne = 287 km

Gisborne - Napier = 215 km

Napier - Wellington = 315km

Wellington - Taupo = 371 km

Taupo - Auckland = 269 km

This is my work that Mrs Anderson had set for us to do. It includes maths because we have to figure out how long these people travel and how far they go to travel to that certain place.

This is my poster about all the Nationalities there are in Room 9. The top 2 is Maori and followed by Tonga.

This is my Matariki poster that we did for Matariki. It is a celebration about the 7 stars. The word matariki stands for tiny eyes or eyes of god. 

My Drumtastic Poster

This is my drumtastic poster that Mrs Eeles has set for us. I choose this drum because it was a native drum the Cook Island. These drums are pretty awesome and they have a really loud sound to it to.

Panda Research

This is my Panda Presentation that me and my partner Oxsanah have been working on. We thought that this was the most interesting fact that Pandas also eat rodents. 

Push And Pull Factor Presentation

This is a push and pull factor that Efaraima, Tim and I have been working on. A push factor is a reason for you to want or need to leave a specific place. A pull factor is a specific place to go to.

Migration Task.

Our task was to explain in our own words why people migrate to NZ. The skill we were practising was to find evidence to support our thinking. My little explanation is based on economic reasons for why people migrate to NZ.
