My Speech

Good afternoon students and teachers. Just think about a time where you have been bullied for what you look like, what you believe in and who you are? Doesn’t it hurt thinking about a time you were bullied? Thinking that there was no one to help you.

Take a look around you. Is there someone different from you? Well of course! Everyone is different. Not one person in this room looks the same as you. So tell me, why are people bullied because of their appearance, because of their beliefs and religions, because of being different?

Race is apart of who we are. Tease me about the things I can change. Mock me about the colour of my hair, or the way my teeth aren’t aligned. Don’t tease me for what I can’t change. Don’t mock me for the colour of the skin or the race I descend from.

Why do we think we have the authority to mock someone if they’re a different race? We were born to be real not to be perfect. So why should you choose to rule our life? Why is that we feel uncomfortable in a room full of unfamiliar faces?

Why do we bully? We were born the way we are. Racial Bullying is just wrong! Being unique is okay. What’s wrong with that? So why judge someone for being themselves? For being an individual? We must learn to find the similarities not the differences. We should be able to express who we really are without being cautious. We need to stand up to bullying, we need to end this! Racial bullying is never the answer.

How to use speech marks

This is a collaborative DLO that Fine, John and I created to show people how to use speech marks. We included examples that are easy to understand and simple rules that need to be followed in order to use speech marks. We used PowToon to produce this presentation.

Samantha's Anzac Comic Life Poster.

Hi my name is Samantha and this is my ANZAC Comic Life War Poster. I worked with my classmate partner Fine. For the whole term we have been learning about different kinds of  wars like : WW1, WW2, Treaty of Waitaingi and etc. Fine and I had to put down all sorts of information, put it onto a Comic Life Poster and decorate it. We were really happy with the end results and we hope you like it too. If you like it too copy and paste this link to see more posters : http://creativevoicepbs.blogspot.co.nz/ or leave some comments. Thank you.

Outcomes of Bullying

Outcomes of Bullying

A person will feel upset if they are bullied.
If their heart is broken from the person that bullied them.
It is not very nice if another person calls people names and if they tease them.
If you bully one another that means that you are not a very nice person so that is why you end up with no friends.
If you get bullied from one another then you will be a bully for the rest of your life.
