My Netbook Reflection

Hi my name is Samantha Manu and this is a reflection about my Netbook. I go to Panmure Bridge School. I am a year 5 student and I am in room 7.

I love using my netbook because it helps me learn more and using my netbook can be better because it helps you find lots of information. Sometimes writing can be exhausting. When I use my netbook you can go on websites like Sumdog or Studyladder and go on the activities that your teacher has set you.

When you don’t look after your netbook sometimes your screen can freeze.   Also when you are using your netbook the most important thing is sometimes my keyboard does not work and do not download games or go on facebook because your netbook is for you to do school work and learn not to play around.

Something that is interesting about using netbooks is that you can type instead of writing because when you write it can be exhausting. Also something interesting about my netbook is when you draw you don't have to use a book to draw you can use a file named tux paint. Also while using your netbook it can be fun without using a book.

My Artwork about Ingrid Banwell

My Ingrid Banwell Art Reflection

How well did I include the elements of Ingrid Banwell’s work?
I did well because Ingrid Banwell’s artwork has the same colours in her picture and in her border and I did the same thing too.

Something I really like about my art is...
That when I dyed it looks real real cool with the chalk lines.
Something I would improve if I could is …
Colour my artwork a bit better and do my border a bit more colorful.

An Olympic Sport

TENNIS

Tennis is good to practice if you want to play a game.

Everybody that plays tennis could enjoy it.

Nobody can disturb you if you are playing tennis.

No one can hold you back from playing tennis

It's not about winning it's all about showing how much talent you’ve got in yourself.

Sometimes you could think to yourself that I can’t play tennis but all you have to do is believe in yourself and focus on tennis.

My Holidays

BY: SAMANTHA
Yellow Hat
The best part of my holiday was:

When I went into the city to see a show called “The Magic Chicken”. When we went into the theatre these men were playing music while we were waiting for the show to begin. Finally the show began and we sat down and enjoyed that lovely time watching the show and it was lots of fun.

*
Black Hat
During the holidays I didn’t like it when:
It was raining because I wanted to play outside but unfortunately I couldn’t because of the raining weather.

*
Green Hat
Next holidays I would like to:
Go to Sylvia Park to Hoyts and watch my favourite movie Kung Fu Panda with my friends and family.

Outcomes of Bullying

Outcomes of Bullying

A person will feel upset if they are bullied.
If their heart is broken from the person that bullied them.
It is not very nice if another person calls people names and if they tease them.
If you bully one another that means that you are not a very nice person so that is why you end up with no friends.
If you get bullied from one another then you will be a bully for the rest of your life.

Dr.Ben Carson by Samantha

OnTuesday the seniors went to Manukau to see Dr Ben Carson at Telstra Clear. When we got there it was big like a hall.  When we got inside there were chairs for people to sit down.  After that a man and Dr.Ben Carson and his wife came.  Suddenly a man came up and told us his story.  Finally Dr.Ben Carson came up and had a speech about his and it was a very very good good speech.  After that when it finished we got to have Up and Go and Vive and an apple and that is the end of my story.
